02 About

A bit more
about me.

I study Computer Engineering at NUS. I usually work on embedded systems and robotics, but I like projects that take me beyond one layer.

01 In plain terms

Most of my work starts with hardware and keeps going.

I work mostly on embedded systems and robotics: firmware, communications, sensors, control, test automation, and the software around physical systems.

I like being able to trace a problem from the hardware, through the firmware, and into the tools used to test it.

I also enjoy game development and visual work. UniQuest let me work on gameplay systems, pixel art, sound, and mobile controls in the same project.

Work, teaching, leadership.

A selective timeline rather than every line from the résumé. These are the roles that best explain how I work.

LionsBot International

Embedded Systems Intern

  • Architected and led development of an STM32U585 hardware-in-the-loop ECU test platform using C, FreeRTOS, FDCAN, and Python/pywebview.
  • Automated roughly 20 end-to-end validation cases, reducing execution from about ten minutes to under one minute.
  • Built a production QC application and designed, fabricated, and validated a two-layer KiCad interface PCB for a new trolley system.

Teaching Assistant

  • Guided students through CG2111A bare-metal Arduino labs, C, register-level peripherals, I/O, and embedded debugging.
  • Mentored CDE2310 teams working with ROS 2 and Ubuntu, including setup, packages, workspaces, launch issues, and navigation-stack use.
  • Assessed labs, projects, presentations, and mission runs across both courses.

What I’m studying.

2024—2028

National University of Singapore

B.Eng. Computer Engineering, with a second major in the Innovation and Design Programme.

Current direction

Computer systems + robotics

Real-time operating systems, computer architecture, human-robot interaction, and guidance, navigation and control.

I also make games and visual work.

For UniQuest, a two-person NUS-themed platformer, I worked on character state machines, persistence, combat, touch controls, shaders, pixel art, sound, and platform builds.

The playground has a small selection of posters and game art.
